inHaus1: Innovations for residential properties
The inHaus innovation center was opened April 3, 2001, with the research facility inHaus1. Here, new technology and application solutions for private residential properties of all kinds and for different real estate of property developers and owners, are created. From the point of view of application, the objective is, apart from decreasing the running costs, reducing the energy consumption, protecting the environment, increasing security and providing senior citizens the opportunity of leading an independent lifestyle for a longer time, also to enhance convenience, e.g. by means of attractive multimedia solutions and concepts for the simple handling of the technology which is installed in a house. By now, many of the solutions, which have been developed and tested in inHaus1, have successfully been put on the market by the inHaus GmbH.
