Building operation and facility management are together with application processes the main focus of all inHaus2 activities. Many projects are carried out with the inHaus2 innovation roadmap and partners from ecomony and science to optimize the processes in those areas. This happens on the background that nowadays the costs of running a facility exceed investment costs often already within 8 to 10 years. Wrong planning and realization of contruction-physical and information-techonological infrastructures and equipment often hinder all efforts of saving costs, for instance, in the field of energy consumption or operating procedures of applications such as needed in hotels or nursing homes.
